Chidamide is a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor, primarily indicated for the treatment of refractory or relapsed peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). It exerts its effects by regulating gene expression and inhibiting tumor cell proliferation, and must be used under the standardized guidance of a physician.
I. Indications
Refractory or relapsed peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL): For patients who have received at least one course of systemic chemotherapy previously with poor efficacy or subsequent relapse.
Other indications shall be determined based on clinical research or physician assessment.
II. Dosage and Administration
Recommended dosage for adults: 20 mg per dose, orally administered twice a week (with an interval of 3 to 4 days). The drug may be taken with or without food. The specific dosage shall be in accordance with the physician’s instructions.
Dose adjustment: In case of severe adverse reactions (e.g., myelosuppression), dose reduction or temporary treatment interruption shall be performed under the guidance of a physician.
III. Adverse Reactions
Common reactions
Thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, anemia, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, etc.
Severe reactions
Severe infection, cardiac arrhythmia, abnormal liver function, etc. Immediate medical attention is required for such reactions.
IV. Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of chidamide.
Pregnant women, lactating women, and patients with severe hepatic or renal insufficiency.
V. Precautions
Blood routine monitoring
Patients shall undergo regular blood cell count tests during treatment to prevent myelosuppression.
Hepatic and renal function monitoring
Long-term users shall be closely monitored for hepatic and renal function indicators.
Infection prevention
Avoid exposure to infection sources; seek medical attention promptly if symptoms such as fever occur.
Drug interactions
Cautious use is required when combined with anticoagulants, immunosuppressants and other drugs. Patients must inform physicians of their medication history in advance.
VI. Storage Conditions
Store in a tightly sealed container, protected from light, in a cool place below 30℃.
Keep out of the reach of children.
VII. Instructions for Medical Supervision
Chidamide is a prescription medicine and must be used in strict accordance with the physician’s guidance. Do not adjust the dosage or discontinue the drug without authorization. If abnormal symptoms occur during treatment (e.g., persistent fever, bleeding tendency, etc.), contact a physician immediately and receive professional medical management.
