Update: 25 Feb,2026 Source: Haiou Health Views: 109

Rezvilutamide Tablets are a novel androgen receptor inhibitor, mainly indicated for the treatment of prostate cancer. Administration in special populations must be strictly guided by a physician, with specific precautions as follows:

1. Children and Adolescents

Contraindicated

Due to the lack of safety and efficacy data, use is not recommended in individuals under 18 years of age.

2. Pregnant and Lactating Women

Contraindicated during pregnancy

The drug may cause fetal harm. Effective contraceptive measures must be adopted during treatment.

Contraindicated during lactation

It remains unclear whether the drug is excreted in human milk; discontinuation of breastfeeding is recommended.

3. Elderly Patients

No dosage adjustment is required. However, a comprehensive evaluation should be performed based on hepatic/renal function, comorbidities and other conditions, with close monitoring for adverse reactions.

4. Patients with Hepatic and Renal Impairment

Mild to moderate hepatic impairment

Use with caution and monitor liver function regularly.

Severe hepatic impairment

Avoid use due to insufficient safety data.

Renal impairment

No dosage adjustment is required, but the risk of drug accumulation should be monitored.

5. Other Precautions

Drug-drug interactions

Concomitant use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers (e.g., rifampicin, clarithromycin) may alter plasma drug concentrations, requiring dosage adjustment.

Hypersensitivity

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any ingredient of this product.

6. General Principles of Medication

Follow medical advice

As a prescription drug, the regimen of rezvilutamide should be tailored to the patient’s individual conditions (e.g., disease stage, concomitant medications).

Regular follow‑up examinations

During treatment, monitor liver function, routine blood tests and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels, and adjust therapy as needed.

Patients with underlying diseases or those taking other medications must inform their doctor in advance to reduce the risk of adverse reactions.

Discontinue the drug immediately and seek prompt medical attention if severe side effects occur (e.g., liver injury, arrhythmia).
