Serplulimab injection is an anti-tumor drug of the PD-1 inhibitor class. It activates the immune system by blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 signaling pathway, helping the body recognize and attack tumor cells. Currently, this drug is mainly used to treat specific types of solid tumors (such as non-small cell lung cancer, esophageal cancer, etc.), and is particularly suitable for patients with advanced solid tumors with microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H)/mismatch repair-deficient (dMMR) status.
Indications and Administration
Indications
Approved for the treatment of patients with MSI-H/dMMR advanced solid tumors who have failed standard therapy.
Approved for first-line treatment in combination with chemotherapy for locally advanced or metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer.
Administration
It is usually administered intravenously; the specific dosage and treatment course shall be adjusted according to the patient’s condition and the physician’s guidance.
Pathological tests (such as PD-L1 expression, MSI status, etc.) should be completed before treatment to evaluate the applicability of the drug.
Precautions
Common Adverse Reactions
Immune-related reactions: including pneumonitis, colitis, hepatitis, thyroid dysfunction, etc. Relevant indicators require regular monitoring.
Infusion reactions: fever and chills may occur; drug administration should be suspended in severe cases.
Contraindications and Cautions
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug.
Patients with active autoimmune diseases or those receiving immunosuppressive therapy need careful evaluation.
Medication Guidance
Compliance with Medical Advice
Serplulimab is a prescription drug. A comprehensive evaluation of the patient’s condition and physical status by an oncologist is required before use.
During treatment, regular re-examinations including imaging tests, blood routine, liver and kidney function, etc., should be performed to adjust the treatment regimen in a timely manner.
Medical Advice
Seek immediate medical attention if severe adverse reactions occur (such as dyspnea, persistent diarrhea, jaundice, etc.).
Avoid live vaccines during medication, and inform the physician of all other medications being used (including traditional Chinese medicines or health supplements).
The efficacy and safety of serplulimab have been verified in clinical trials. However, individual responses vary significantly, so strict compliance with the physician’s guidance is required to ensure standardized medication.
