Update: 23 Jan,2026 Source: Haiou Health Views: 112

The standard administration of Savolitinib is oral. The recommended dose is 300 mg once daily, to be taken on an empty stomach (1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals). The specific dose may be adjusted based on individual differences or adverse reactions and must be strictly followed as prescribed by the physician.

Dosage and Administration of Savolitinib

1. Administration Method

Administer orally at a fixed time every day to maintain regular medication intake.

Taking the drug on an empty stomach can enhance the stability of drug absorption; do not take it with food.

If a dose is missed and less than 12 hours remain until the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a supplementary dose or double the dose.

2. Dose Adjustment

In case of severe adverse reactions (e.g., abnormal liver function, interstitial lung disease, etc.), the physician may suspend the medication or reduce the dose to 200 mg per day.

For special populations (e.g., patients with hepatic or renal impairment), the dose should be adjusted according to the results of relevant examinations, and an individualized treatment plan must be strictly followed.

Precautions

During the treatment period, regular monitoring of liver function, blood routine, and pulmonary conditions is required to detect abnormalities early and intervene promptly.

Avoid concurrent use with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers, as these may affect drug metabolism.

Seek immediate medical attention if symptoms such as dyspnea, persistent diarrhea, or abnormal skin reactions occur.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any component of Savolitinib.

Contraindicated in pregnant women, lactating women, and women planning pregnancy. Effective contraceptive measures should be adopted during the treatment period.

Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic insufficiency (Child-Pugh Class C), and the risks must be evaluated by a physician.

Storage Requirements

Store away from light in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25℃.

Ensure the medication is kept out of the reach of children.

Savolitinib is a prescription drug. The specific medication regimen must be formulated by a physician based on the patient’s condition. Patients shall not adjust the dose or discontinue the medication on their own. Close follow-up is required during the treatment period, and patients should cooperate with physicians to complete relevant examinations.
