On August 23, 2023, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) granted conditional approval for the marketing of Sunvozertinib Tablets (trade name: Sunvozert), a Class 1 innovative drug developed by Dizal (Jiangsu) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
This drug is indicated for adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose disease has progressed during or after prior platinum-containing chemotherapy, or who are intolerant to platinum-containing chemotherapy, and who have been confirmed by testing to harbor epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 20 insertion mutations.
