Orelabrutinib Tablets are a protein kinase inhibitor, indicated for the treatment of adult patients with mantle cell lymphoma who have received at least one prior therapy, as well as adult patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma who have received at least one prior therapy.
The contraindications of this product are listed below:
1. Contraindicated Populations
Patients with known hypersensitivity to orelabrutinib or any of its excipients (e.g., immediate or accelerated hypersensitivity reactions) are contraindicated to use this product.
Patients with severe hepatic impairment are contraindicated to use this product.
Females of childbearing potential are advised to avoid pregnancy during the administration of this product and for at least 1 month after treatment discontinuation.
Male patients are recommended to use highly effective contraceptive measures during treatment and for at least 3 months after the end of treatment.
Breastfeeding should be discontinued during the use of this product and within 2 weeks after the last dose.
2. Contraindicated Matters
This product may increase the risk of infection in patients. For patients with severe infection prior to the initiation of treatment, therapy should be commenced only after the infection has been effectively controlled.
Cytopenias are very common in patients with B-cell malignancies receiving this product. Close monitoring of complete blood count is recommended during treatment. If cytopenias occur, symptomatic treatment should be administered as clinically indicated; temporary treatment suspension may be required if necessary.
Keep this product out of the reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
This product is metabolized primarily via CYP3A4. Caution should be exercised when co-administering with CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers. Concomitant use with strong and moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers should be avoided.
