Update: 15 Jan,2026 Source: Haiou Health Views: 107

Ensartinib is a targeted therapy drug indicated for ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It must be administered strictly in accordance with the doctor’s instructions, with a focus on dose adjustment, adverse reaction monitoring, drug interactions, and precautions for special populations.

Precautions Before Medication

Confirmation of Indications

The ALK-positive status must be confirmed by gene testing to avoid blind medication use.

Evaluation of Underlying Diseases

Patients with abnormal liver and kidney function, heart disease, or pulmonary disease shall inform the doctor in advance for treatment plan adjustment.

Administration Specifications During Medication

Dosage and Administration

The recommended dose is usually oral administration once daily. The specific dose shall be determined by the doctor based on the patient’s condition; no self-adjustment or discontinuation is allowed.

In case of a missed dose, the missed dose can be taken if the interval before the next scheduled dose is ≥ 12 hours; otherwise, skip the dose.

Adverse Reaction Monitoring

Common Reactions: Including rash, fatigue, nausea, edema, etc. Mild symptoms can be relieved by dietary adjustments or adjuvant medications.

Severe Reactions: Such as abnormal liver function (jaundice, dark urine), interstitial lung disease (dyspnea, cough), bradycardia, etc. In such cases, immediately discontinue the medication and consult a doctor.

Conduct regular examinations of liver function, blood routine, and electrocardiogram.

Drug Interactions

Avoid concurrent use with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., clarithromycin) or inducers (e.g., rifampicin), as this may affect drug efficacy or increase toxicity.

Exercise caution when used concomitantly with anticoagulants or antiarrhythmic drugs, which may increase the risk of bleeding or cardiac events.

Special Population Management

Pregnant and Lactating Women

This drug has fetotoxicity; effective contraceptive measures must be taken. It is prohibited during lactation.

Patients with Hepatic or Renal Impairment

Dose reduction is required for patients with moderate to severe liver impairment. Close monitoring is needed for patients with renal impairment.

Pediatric and Geriatric Populations

The safety and efficacy in these populations have not been established, requiring individualized evaluation.

Other Precautions

Storage Conditions

Store away from light below 30℃ and avoid humid environments.

Compliance Management

Take the medication on time and in the prescribed dose; avoid arbitrarily interrupting treatment, as this may affect efficacy.

For any medication-related questions or the occurrence of uncomfortable symptoms, timely communication with the attending physician is required; do not handle the situation without authorization.
