Tislelizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting programmed death receptor 1. Tislelizumab was approved for medical use in China in December 2019, in the European Union in September 2023, and in the United States in March 2024.
1. Dose
Inject 200mg intravenously every 3 weeks.
2. Dosage form/route of administration
intravenous infusion.
3. Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product is Trastuzumab, which is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody.
4. Contraindications
It is contraindicated for patients allergic to Trastuzumab or its components.
Patients in the acute phase of severe immune system diseases should use it with caution.
5. Usage and dosage
Trastuzumab is usually administered via intravenous injection.
Recommended dosage: usually 200mg, once every 3 weeks, specific dosage and treatment plan need to be guided by a doctor.
The administration method is intravenous infusion, and the infusion time depends on drug tolerance and hospital regulations.
6. Mechanism of action
The binding of PD-1 ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2 to PD-1 receptors on T cells can inhibit T cell proliferation and cytokine production. Upregulation of PD-1 ligands occurs in some tumors, and signal transduction through this pathway can help suppress active T cell immune surveillance in tumors.
Tislelizumab is a humanized immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4) variant monoclonal antibody targeting PD-1, which can bind to the extracellular domain of human PD-1. It competitively blocks the binding of PD-L1 and PD-L2, inhibits PD-1-mediated negative signaling, and enhances the functional activity of T cells in vitro cell assays.
7. All indications approved for Tevimbra
Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC)
Tevimbra is suitable as a monotherapy for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable, recurrent, locally advanced, or metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma who have previously received chemotherapy.
Non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
Tevimbra is used in combination with pemetrexed and platinum based chemotherapy for first-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic non squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with PD-L1 expression ≥ 50%, but without epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) or anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) genomic tumor abnormalities.
Tevimbra is used in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel or albumin bound paclitaxel for first-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer patients.
