IBTROZI (Taletrectinib) is a kinase inhibitor used to treat locally advanced or metastatic ROS1 positive non-small cell lung cancer.
1. Indications
IBTROZI is a kinase inhibitor suitable for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic ROS1 positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in adult patients.
2. Warning and Precautions
Hepatotoxicity: Liver function should be monitored before starting treatment, once every two weeks for the first two months of treatment, and once a month thereafter according to clinical needs. Patients with elevated transaminase levels should increase their monitoring frequency. Depending on the severity and recovery of liver toxicity, medication can be temporarily suspended and then resumed at a lower dose, or permanently discontinued.
Interstitial lung disease (ILD)/pneumonia: Monitor patients for new or worsening lung symptoms suggestive of ILD/pneumonia. For patients suspected of having ILD/pneumonia, medication should be immediately discontinued. According to the severity and remission of the condition, medication can be resumed, the dose can be reduced or maintained at the original dose, or permanently discontinued.
QTc interval prolongation: Regular monitoring of electrocardiogram and electrolytes before and during treatment. Suspend treatment based on severity and remission, and then resume treatment at the same or reduced dose, or permanently discontinue medication.
Hyperuricemia: Regularly monitor serum uric acid levels before and during treatment. Start using uric acid lowering drugs for treatment based on clinical indications. Suspend medication based on the severity of the condition, then resume medication at the same or reduced dose, or permanently discontinue medication.
Muscle pain accompanied by elevated creatine phosphokinase (CPK): For patients reporting unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness, monitor serum CPK levels during treatment. Suspend medication based on severity, and resume medication at the same or reduced dose once symptoms improve.
Bone fracture: Patients with signs or symptoms of fracture (such as pain, limited mobility, deformity) should be evaluated immediately.
Embryo fetal toxicity: may cause harm to the fetus. Patients should be informed of potential risks to the fetus and advised to take effective contraceptive measures.
